Jane Tara's motto is "life is either a daring adventure, or nothing." Thanks to her itchy feet and passion for storytelling, she spends most of her time wandering the world and writing. She has lived in Tokyo, London, Vienna, New York, various parts of Australia, and travelled everywhere in-between.

A trained actress, Jane has performed in over 10 countries, but eventually found herself wanting to write for the stage rather than perform on it. Her plays have been produced on four continents, and have won a number of awards. She also has over a dozen children's picture books published and has written freelance articles for many major publications worldwide.

Jane has studied various metaphysical paths and healing modalities under Masters in Asia, Australia and the UK. Part of the great adventure is walking a spiritual and magical path as well as a geographical one. She has two gorgeous (if somewhat feral) sons and currently divides her time between Sydney and the rest of the world.
